This Wilmington, Vermont homeowner contacted us because he had a crawlspace with clear signs of water and mold. He wanted to seal off the area to make it clean and dry. Matt Clark's team of installation specialist placed a SmartPump System with a discharge line that included an IceGuard and LawnScape and a full CleanSpace System with drainage matting and a liner to prevent any water from entering the space. This helped to close off any moisture and mold from the home and storage area, to make the crawlspace usable.

Every spring the homeowner in Lyme, New Hampshire would get water in their basement and it wouldn't start to go away until August. This made using the basement for anything a big inconvenience. Tired of not being able to use their space they contacted Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems.
Matt sent out of his System Design Specialist for the customers FREE ESTIMATE. After doing the inspection the conclusion was made the best way to keep the customers basement permanently dry was to install a few different products. First Northern Basement Systems installed a CleanSpace Wall System. The CleanSpace Wall System uses a thick (20mil) white poly sheet material to completely cover basement foundation walls. CleanSpace is installed by fastening the material to the rim joist atop the foundation wall, and by installing press-fit plastic fasteners into the masonry. As part of your waterproofing system, it creates an effective moisture and vapor barrier. The wall covering forces all wall seepage and moisture to flow into your perimeter drain system. The white poly surface eliminates the need to paint basement walls, providing a bright, stain-resistant finish that never needs repainting or maintenance.
Next, WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect any water seepage from the wall to the WaterGuard. Finally a SuperSump Plus was installed to pump out any water in the WaterGuard. The SuperSump will take all of the water out of the basement and pump it away from the house down a discharge line. The homeowner now can finally enjoy a nice dry basement.

The owners of a wonderful home in Montpelier, Vermont were looking for a solution for insulating their basement walls. They had already gutted their basement and are planning on completely remodeling it. They gave Matt Clark's Northern Basement a call at 1-800-DRY-TIME and asked what they could do to help them. One of Matt's System Specialist suggested using our Basement to Beautiful Wall Panels. The panels are designed with the unique, advanced SilverGlo™ graphite-infused foam insulation, this insulation provides 24% more energy-saving than conventional foam. At 2 ½" thick and R-13 insulation, Basement To Beautiful™ panels create a warm, protective blanket around your basement that will never rot or support mold growth. To help save the customers money, time, and hassle, electrical chases are designed directly into the Basement To Beautiful™ system. This way, there is no need for you to have an electrician to come in to rough in the wiring, then return to complete the job later. It can all be done in one step after the finished panels are installed. The customers now have warm walls that are ready for their next steps in finishing their basement.
Matt Clark's team completely transformed this space with the installation of TerraBlock insulation, floor matting, and a CleanSpace Encapsulation System.
When the old sump pump in the basement couldn't handle the amount of water entering the basement the homeowner contacted Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems, to set up a free estimate. After meeting with a system design specialist they decided the best way to keep the basement dry was to replace the old pump with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. The TripleSafe has three separate motors. The first pump is a heavy-duty 1/3 horsepower (HP) cast-iron Zoeller pump that does most of the pumping, handling up to 2,600 gallons of water per hour. The second pump is a 1/2 HP pump that operates automatically if Pump 1 fails or if greater pumping volume is needed (up to 6,200 gallons per hour). The third pump is a battery-operated pump that turns on automatically if power fails.
With bowing walls in their basement, a homeowner in Bethlehem, New Hampshire hired Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems to permanently stabilize the walls. Matt's team of experts installed a Geo-Lock Wall Anchor System. This will permanently stabilize the basement walls, offering the best opportunity to straighten the walls without the cost and disruption of foundation replacement. Heavy duty, galvanized earth anchors are embedded in stable, undisturbed soil outside your foundation wall. Each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that provides clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall. Overtime this method also offers the potential to straighten the wall back to its original position.
