After the inspection, the System Design Specialist goes over a custom waterproofing plan to address the multiple areas of the basement where the water was entering.
Matt's team of highly trained, certified waterproofers went to work right away to make sure this homeowner would never waste another day of his life cleaning up water in the basement. First, a Clean Space Wall System goes along the entire perimeter walls of the basement. Next, a trench dug to install a full perimeter Water Guard Drainage System. The Clean Space will tie into the Water Guard, doing this allows both the water entering via wall seepage and water entering up through hydrostatic pressure to flow to the newly installed, Triple Safe Sump Pump. Unlike the old insufficient sump pump, the Triple Safe Sump Pump has three separate pumps. The Zoeller M53 pumps up to 2,220 gallons per hour, and the Zoeller M98 pumps up to 3,900 gallons per hour. The third pump is a battery back-up. This pump will kick on in the event of a power outage and provides owners will nice ease of mind. The Triple Safe will then pump water out of the basement through discharge lines and discharge away from the basement.
The homeowner now has a healthy, clean, dry useable basement. Best of all, anytime it rains, the owner no longer worries about a pool of water to clean up in his basement.
