Why PolyLEVEL:
  • Lighter than Slurry

  • Cures Faster

PolyLEVEL has many benefits over the concrete slurry that most mud jacking or slab jacking contractors use. PolyLEVEL is a much lighter material and does not impose additional stress on sinking soil as concrete slurry does. It is also very strong, does not erode, cures quickly and is injected through much smaller holes. Give us a call to learn more 1-855-248-5226

Stopping The Bowing Wall Threat in Winooski, VT

Silas witnessed a problem that was getting progressively worse. One of the walls in his basement was bowing. At first, the problem didn’t seem like an urgent matter. Over time, it became progressively worse and Silas knew something had to be done. He reached out to Matt Clark’s Northern Basement Systems for help.

Bowing walls, particularly in the basement, are an extreme risk to anyone’s home. Walls start to bow due to the increasing pressure from outdoor soil as it shifts and expands. If the soil pushes the wall to its breaking point, the wall will slide in and put the entire foundation at risk. Knowing this, Matt Clark and his team got right to work. They installed five PowerBraces alongside the bowing wall. These PowerBraces were zinc plated to prevent rusting. They helped stabilize the wall immediately.

Silas was wise to reach out to Matt Clark before the wall got worse. He can rest easily knowing that his foundation is safe and secure. If you have a bowing wall, call Matt Clark for a free estimate, he’d be happy to help the problem before it gets any worse.

Crawlspaces Get CleanSpace Facelift

Scott wanted to seal his two crawl spaces. He wanted both of them to have the walls and dirt completely sealed off. After doing some research online he found Matt Clark’s Northern Basement Systems. Matt Clark and his team of experts were happy to help.

Matt and his team of experts have seen hundreds of crawlspaces throughout their careers. They installed their CleanSpace crawlspace encapsulation system on the walls along with their CleanSpace Drainage Matting under the CleanSpace liner. These installations helped reduced the humidity levels in the air which will help prevent mold growth and rot from the two crawl spaces. When the crawlspaces are in good condition, the whole house becomes healthier.

Scott made the right choice by sealing off his crawlspaces. He won’t have to worry about condensation, mold or structural damages that could take place in the future. Matt Clark and his team of experts are always happy to help out with any crawlspace problems.

SuperSump Installation Makes For A Dry, Safe Basement

Negesse had a problem that many homeowners have to deal with: the basement kept flooding after a snowfall or a heavy rain storm. This problem wasn’t going to go away and in fact, during the spring thaw, it would get worse. Negesse reached out to Matt Clark’s Northern Basement Systems for a free estimate and shortly after tagged them for the job.

Matt Clark and his experts examined the situation and knew what to do. They installed their patented WaterGuard system, a SuperSump pump system with a discharge line and a TrenchDrain. The WaterGuard system helps gather the incoming water and sends it to the pump. The SuperSump pump channels the water through the discharge line and to the surface of the outdoors. The TrenchDrain system helped channel any excess water into the SuperSump pump as well. With all these installations in place, Negesse’s basement was in great shape.

No longer will Negesse have to dread heavy rain fall or the spring thawing season. Negesse can rest easily knowing that the basement will stay safe and dry. Matt Clark is an expert in all things regarding basements. If you’ve got a concern about your basement, reach out to Matt Clark for a free estimate.

Basement appears to have a lot of water coming in where floor and wall meet. There is an existing sump pump, but it seems to go off more often than it should. I'm also concerned that it is not moving the water far enough from the house. Would like to look at changes to the pump set up plus any other waterproofing options.

We are currently in the early stages of renovating our basement. We have a small crack in the foundation that may need repairing and signs of relatively minor water damage. We would like to get this repaired. We would like advice on waterproofing (currently it seems pretty good) and dehumidifier options. We also need the basement windows replacing (not sure if that is a service you offer).

I've got an interior perimeter drain that feeds to a sump pump. You may have done with work with the previous owner. I'd like to get a quote for getting insulation in the basement now. Thanks, Brian

Hello! I have a house that was built in 1925. the house has a basement with a cement floor, the lower half of the walls is also made of cement and the upper half is made of the original material, completely made of rock. in total the height of the basement is approximately 5'2 ". The basement has a lot of humidity and is not isolated or waterproof.

Hello! We recently bought a house, and a horizontal hairline crack at mid wall height has appeared on one basement wall. There is a small amount of bowing as well, about 1/2" measured by plumb line form the center of the bulge. We would love a consult about this, thanks!

Water in basement
Vicinity of Florida Ave in Winooski
Moved into recently purchased home last night and found some water pooling around eastern basement wall. Wood paneling along that wall had significant rot on the bottom. Window wells need to be cleaned out (doing today), but we're concerned that there may be an additional something causing the water leakage.

Interested in having someone look at cracked sections of our foundation, as well as sealing and waterproofing for potential finishing of basement.
Vicinity of Reginald Street in Winooski
We have a water and Critter issue in the basement that requires immediate attention. Due to large cracks in the brick foundation. Not entirely sure how urgent this is, but it for sure cause a mouse infestation.
Vicinity of Platt St in Winooski
The basement in my duplex leaks seasonally through the walls. I have received a quote from someone for $8,000 to excavate around the exterior of the foundation and install a drainage system but I'm wondering if there's a less expensive option. Thanks!
Vicinity of Russell St in Winooski
Typically there's one corner of our basement that always gets wet... Water comes across the floor, and works its way into a trench that goes to a sump pump... Would like to get rid of the wetness altogether. Of course, last night it flooded worse than it has in years.
Vicinity of Union Street in Winooski
I have a poured concrete retaining wall in my backyard that is about 5 ft tall, 30 ft long and about 8 inches thick. The wall has large vertical cracks in it running from top to bottom. The wall also has one 90 degree bend in it. The wall is cracked in the bend and missing chunks from the top and bottom. If you do work on retaining walls was wondering if I could get a quote for how much it would be to repair.

Looking to repair one small area of stone foundation.
Vicinity of Franklin St in Winooski
Our basement has water in it due to the melting snow. This is our first winter in this house, and in the last week this is our second water problem. The first was easier to handle, but we have more water in our basement now. It is not completely flooded, but does have standing water. Our home had a "gut renovation" in 2018 and we did not see any cracks that would cause water to enter our basement. We do have a concrete basement and would like to get a quote on waterproofing it, so that this will not continue to be an issue. Thank you for your time.

Leaking wet basement. Very wet outside and lots of leaking inside.
Vicinity of Whitney Street in Winooski
My basement is older and I've had water come in twice since owning the home (5.5 years). The foundation is old and the water seemed to be absorbed through the floor causing puddling. I've been working on repairing the concrete and I've sealed the walls with drylok extreme masonry waterproofer. The floor is the next and last step. I'm interested having a professional complete the floor, I'm not feeling confident in doing it myself and doing it right. I thought it would be worth getting a quote for doing it right. Thank you!

Basement walls have lime built up that is starting to crumble the cinderblock. Our cinderblock also has lead paint on it, so scrapping needs to be in line with lead safe practices. I would like to clean, use contact cement where necessary, and Drylock the cinder walls so that our basement can be usable for our small kids. I would like this to be a playroom for them.

We have water leaking through the walls causing flooding in our basement
Vicinity of Roger St in Winooski
Some water in my basement that is coming from through the wall. I repaired this issue about 8 years ago, but the seepage is coming through behind drywall that I have not taken down yet. Not sure if there is a crack or the drylock has not failed. The leak is in a carpeted area. No sump pump, french drain or exterior perimeter drain currently.
Vicinity of W. Allen St. in Winooski
My house was built in the 1860's with a stone foundation and the slab is only 1" thick so we get water in our basement from many spots after prolonged rain. I have a portable sump pump that I use but nothing permanent. I would to see what my options are to try to remedy this. Thanks.
