Crawl Space Repair & Encapsulation Expert

However, we feel like crawl spaces can be more valuable than that. This crawl space in Killington, Vermont had traditional fiberglass insulation that wasn't keeping the floors of the home warm, dirt floors that were damp and made the space unusable, and the block walls began to shift a bit and began to compromise the foundation of the home.
Our team began with removing the fiberglass insulation, debris and raked the crawlspace floors to even the ground to prepare for the system installation. They stabilized the block foundation using both SmartJack Support Posts and a PowerBrace Wall Repair System. Then they installed a CleanSpace encapsulation system to lockout, standing water and humidity and make the space clean and usable. This encapsulation system was paired with SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier and SmartDrain. The dehumidifier will reduce humidity and filter the air to improve air quality in the home, and the SmartDrain will allow any water from the inside of the crawl space out in the event that a pipe in the home breaks. Additionally, our specialist installed an EverLast Access Well to help gain year-round access to the crawl space. Lastly, our team sprayed closed-cell polyurethane foam in the rim joist area to improve the homes efficiently and eliminate cold floors.
