This will take care of their wet basement problem for good.  However, during an inspection by our foreman, Neil, it was discovered that the basement foundation was monolithic.  This means the floor and footing were poured as one piece.  This is not a problem at all for Northern Basement Systems.  Neil explained the issue to the customers.  He than further explained how he could easily still make their basement  dry for good.  It will take just using a DryTrak system, in place of the water guard system.  DryTrak is used when jack hammering can not be done or it can result in major damage done to the foundation.  The DryTrak will collect the water and route it to the Super Sump Pump.  The pump will then discharge the water out of the basement and out of a discharge line away form the house.  Our customers are now very happy with their dry basement.  

Kevin of Morrisville, VT was concerned about the concrete block foundation that was beginning to bow inward and was allowing water and humidity to enter. Our team added 10 supplemental beams along the floor joists to add more stability under the home, 6 SmartJacks to improve the structural integrity of the home and foundation, and 3 Geo-Lock Anchors to prevent further movement and bowing in the wall. 

To address moisture concerns, we installed CleanSpace Drainage Matting allowing the water to be directed to the drain system, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to lock out water or humidity, and a SmartDrain with a WaterWatch alarm to protect the basement from flooding or plumbing issues.
