Northern Basement Systems Before & After Photos

A wet, humid basement is not ideal for anyone.  A homeowner in Danville, Vermont was fed up with dealing with conditions of the basement and decided to call the experts at Matt Clark's Northern Basement System for a permanent solution.  Matt's team installed a Cleanspace vapor barrier on the perimeter walls to take care of any wall seepaage.  This will drain any seepage to the new WaterGuard System and then will be taken to the state-of-the-art TripleSafe Sump Pump.  The TripleSafe will then pump the water out to an exterior IceGuard Discharge Line System.  To finish up the job they added a state-of-the-art, energy efficient, Sanidry Sedona Dehumidifier.  This will keep the basement at a perfect 55% humidity.

Every spring the homeowner in Lyme, New Hampshire would get water in their basement and it wouldn't start to go away until August.  This made using the basement for anything a big inconvenience.  Tired of not being able to use their space they contacted Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems. 

 Matt sent out of his System Design Specialist for the customers FREE ESTIMATE.  After doing the inspection the conclusion was made the best way to keep the customers basement permanently dry was to install a few different products.  First Northern Basement Systems installed a CleanSpace Wall System.   The CleanSpace Wall System uses a thick (20mil) white poly sheet material to completely cover basement foundation walls. CleanSpace is installed by fastening the material to the rim joist atop the foundation wall, and by installing press-fit plastic fasteners into the masonry.  As part of your waterproofing system, it creates an effective moisture and vapor barrier. The wall covering forces all wall seepage and moisture to flow into your perimeter drain system. The white poly surface eliminates the need to paint basement walls, providing a bright, stain-resistant finish that never needs repainting or maintenance. 

Next, WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect any water seepage from the wall to the WaterGuard.  Finally a SuperSump Plus was installed to pump out any water in the WaterGuard.  The SuperSump will take all of the water out of the basement and pump it away from the house down a discharge line.  The homeowner now can finally enjoy a nice dry basement.

A home in Enfield, New Hampshire had water leaking through the concrete foundation in several places. The homeowner needed to find a solution to keep the basement dry, after spending some time on the internet searching for a solution when she found Northern Basement Systems.

We provided her with a FREE ESTIMATE, that consisted of a site visit and inspection, followed by a project proposal and estimate. Once she approved the proposal, our production team then visited the home to install the waterproofing system. 

Our installation specialists installed a WaterGuard Drainage System along the wall that water was entering. They then installed a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump, that's composed of two pumps to ensure that in the event of a pump failure, the basement will still stay dry. With these systems in place, the water will be collected before it enters the basement and then pumped out by the sump pump. Lastly, the installation specialist installed a discharge line with an IceGuard and a LawnScape Outlet.
