Wet & Humid Crawl Space in Newport, Vermont

Homeowners in Newport, VT, were looking for a solution to their wet, cold, and humid crawl space.  They felt the floor upstairs had a sag to it too.  When the homeowners went into the crawl space, it was an unpleasant surprise to find the sump pump in place was working, but not keeping up with the water coming in.

Also, the support beams for the floor joists were made of wood and had started to show signs of fatigue.  This made them feel uncomfortable with the safety of the home.  They decided to make a call to Matt Clark's Northern Basement Systems for their FREE ESTIMATE.

Northern Basement Systems sent out a System Design Specialist and access the situation and propose a permanent solution for the customers crawl space concerns.  To fix the water issue, Northern Basement Systems installed a Crawl Space  Drainage System with a TripleSafe Sump Pump.  To control the humidity, the customers went with a SaniDy Sedona dehumidifier. Smart Jacks were put in to replace the decaying support beams.
